Our love story
It is with great joy that Mr. David Corbridge & Mrs. Maurine Corbridge along with Mrs. Dixie Hubbard (and the late, Mr. Don Hubbard) announce the marriage of their children, Josh Corbridge and Heather Hubbard for time and all eternity in the LDS Bountiful Temple.
Josh and Heather were both raised in Southeast Idaho's small, quaint town of Malad City. Due to their shared small-town community and similar upbringings, they have a lot in common, which made it simple for them to fall in love when they reconnected there years later. Josh did construction work for Don, Heather's father, when he was in high school. Josh has shared many stories that include Victor and Don's humor while they were all working together on various projects, and it's been rather entertaining to hear. Over the years, more dads than you can count on two hands have tried to set Josh up with their daughters, but Don's pull from the other side of the veil was obviously the strongest. He undoubtedly had a role in bringing us together, as evidenced by the numerous synchronicities that have occurred. Now all of these years later the roles have reversed and Cruz, Heather's son, is enjoying working for Josh' parents. He loves helping David move the pipelines, bottle feed the baby calves, and helping Maurine make her raspberry fields flourish. We are looking forward to the entertaining stories he will have to share down the road.
Josh and Heather were both raised around horses, so they share the love and appreciation for these beautiful, majestic animals. They also have many shared values including the importance of family, spirituality, honesty, and hard work ethic. Many of our first dates included working together planting grass, building fence, and harvesting hay. They both love to laugh, joke around, and have fun. Our shared trait of wit is the cherry on top. We are looking forward to working and playing and watching the fruits of our labor over the many years to come. We appreciate all of the love and support of our happiness.
